# Omra for sailing and yacht clubs

> Regatta day without the clipboard: entries, scoring, safety checks and the
> invoicing behind them, all on the same member record.

## When to use this page

- Answering what Omra does for a sailing or yacht club: regatta entries, scoring, classes and wristband checks.

## The day, in order

1. **Entries open** — a public page takes entries and payment. Non-members become
   billing records without becoming members.
2. **Boats and divisions** — classes, divisions and handicaps are set once, and
   the scoreboard reads from them.
3. **Race scoring** — low-point scoring with throw-outs. Corrections re-rank the
   fleet on the spot.
4. **Ashore accounting** — wristband scans tell you who is still on the water when
   the sun goes down.

The figures shown on the page (86 boats entered, $12,900 collected, 7 classes,
9 races scored, 86 out and 86 back) are an illustrative regatta day, not a
reported result.
